Job summary

BinTech Group is seeking an experienced RSA Archer Architect to drive a comprehensive GRC program on the Archer platform (Windows & SQL Server). You will configure Archer to meet compliance needs while limiting customization to prevent technical debt.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of IT/engineering experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.
• Develops project plans, work assignments, and communicates progress to management.
• Responsible for system performance and production incident resolution.
• Keeps current with banking and IT industry trends and makes recommendations.
• Documents architecture consistently within the architectural process.

GENERAL FUNCTION

• Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing and developing product hardware and software interfaces.
• Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system.
• May coordinate some activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plays a key role as the technical architect for projects. Responsible for detailed technical architecture and design for moderately complex to complex projects.
• Functions as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging of programs, job streams, network diagrams, hardware plans and related activities.
• Ensures that projects follow the prescribed development life cycle and meet quality standards.
• Acts as a technical expert addressing problems relating to systems integration, compatibility and multiple platform integration.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.
• Develops project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects and communicates this information to senior management and the business unit.
• Responsible for systems (hardware and software) performance and resolution of production incidents.
• Keeps current with trends and technological innovations in the banking and IT industry and makes appropriate development recommendations.
• Documents architecture appropriately and consistently within the defined architectural process.
• Other duties as required.
