DLA, LLC in New York City area seeks a Manager, Governance, Risk & Controls (GRC) – Financial Services to lead internal audit engagements and strengthen client risk programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of internal audit experience in financial services including asset management, alternatives, or mutual funds.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, COSO, and internal control frameworks; GAAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead real, high-impact internal audit and GRC engagements for financial services clients.
• Serve as primary client contact, resolve issues, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Supervise and mentor Seniors and Associates; review workpapers and deliverables with feedback.
• Deliver concise audit reports and presentations communicating risk and recommendations.
• Manage project economics, budgets, utilization, and resourcing; address variances.
• Apply SOX, COSO, and internal control frameworks with precision.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and support proposal development.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, and professional development initiatives.
