Job summary

Inland Packaging in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Press Operator for the day shift to help produce high-quality packaging and labels.

You will work with a skilled press team on state-of-the-art equipment, receive on-the-job training, and have opportunities to grow within a family-owned manufacturer that serves Kraft Heinz, New Glarus, Purina, and others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good math and computer skills; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists Lead Operator with production of the job run.
• Monitor print quality and color consistency throughout the production process.
• Assist with inventory management for inks and production supplies.
• Cross-trains with Lead Press Operator to learn the Offset Press functionality.

Starting Wage: $23.96

Work Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts including every other weekend:

• Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Friday

What You’ll Do

The Press Operator is responsible for tasks that include:

• Assists Lead Operator with production of the job run.
• Monitor print quality and color consistency throughout the production process.
• Assist with inventory management for inks and production supplies.
• Cross-trains with Lead Press Operator to learn the functionality of the Offset Press.
• Works as a team member to meet production and company goals.

• 2 or more years of manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements: Must meet physical demands identified in work screen protocol, this includes lifting up to 70 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 90 pounds on an occasional basis; Vision corrected to 20/40; Must pass Ishihara Color Assessment.
