Amcor is seeking a Press Operator to operate Gravure printing presses and produce packaging that meets customer specifications. You will troubleshoot, make-ready, and adjust inks and solvents to ensure consistent, high-quality results while overseeing safety and efficiency.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of press operation experience with Gravure printing. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential for success in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of press operation experience with Gravure printing and troubleshooting.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and mathematical abilities for percentages, weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gravure press and troubleshoot to meet customer specifications.
• Perform make-ready tasks and ink/solvent adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
• Oversee roll stand service and monitor ink viscosity to maintain consistency.
• Inspect cartons for color, register, cutting, creasing and defect-free output; ensure compliance with checklists.
• Uphold EHS and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized; coach others on safe practices.
• Communicate with team and supervisors; follow directions and provide feedback when needed.
