Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Grocery Associate to help maintain product quality, freshness, and assortment in the grocery department. You will receive, stock, rotate, face products, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy store.

Responsibilities include inventory upkeep, accurate pricing/signage, creating displays, and assisting with ordering based on sales trends. Weekends/evenings may be required.

$15.00 - $19.48 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment is maintained in the throughout the store, specifically in the grocery department.This person will be receiving, stocking and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the grocery department
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the grocerydepartment
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the store is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Receives, stores and stocks a wide variety of products for the grocery department
• Pulls out of date product from the shelves
• Builds end-cap and other special product displays
• Assists Grocery Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of thestorebased on past and projected sales
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
