Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Draper, UT is seeking a Produce Clerk to maintain quality and stock levels for fruits, vegetables, salads, and fresh pack items. You will stock shelves and coolers, receive shipments, and assist customers.

This role requires attention to freshness, pricing accuracy, and strong teamwork. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; a Food Handler's Permit is desirable, and weekend availability is a plus.

Job description

$15.00 - $18.31 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels of all fruits, vegetables, salads, and fresh pack products in the produce department. This person will be stocking produce shelves, produce coolers, and fresh pack items, receiving and stocking product, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the produce department provides
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the produce department
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the produce department is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent service to all customers
• Properly receives and stocks product
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the produce department as a whole

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
