Job summary

Oasis Ascent is seeking a part-time Youth Mentor in Provo, UT. You will help create a safe, supportive environment where teens can heal and grow, working with licensed clinicians to assess needs and determine best actions for each student and their family.

The role emphasizes emotional maturity, patience, teamwork, and strong communication to ensure consistent care across departments, with a focus on safeguarding and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Pass criminal background check
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Pass motor vehicle record check
• Utah driver’s license (within 30 days of employment)
• First Aid & CPR certification (we may provide)
• ICC certification (we may provide)
• Good time management
• Works well within a team
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Able to emotionally self-regulate
• Able to stay mentally present and alert while working
• Patient and kind
• Good judgement
• Safety-oriented
• Effective communicator including listening, writing, and speaking
• Firm, healthy boundaries
• Age: 20 years or older

Hours (this is a part-time position)

PRN/On-Call

8-16 hours per week

Pay starting at $16 DOE

You'll work closely with licensed clinicians to assess their needs and determine the best course of action for their individual situations.
