Job summary

National Salvage & Service Corporation seeks a GRAPPLE TRUCK MATERIAL HANDLING OPERATOR who is results oriented and self-motivated. CDL (class A/B) and 2+ years of experience preferred. Travel is required—4 weeks out, 1 week at home—with scheduling flexibility and a focus on safety.

Responsibilities include hauling ties, scrap metal and equipment; securing loads; and completing daily paperwork, with GPS/ELD use and routine maintenance. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• CDL (Class A/B) required; 2+ years of experience in trucking/railroad work preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-offer drug test and FRA random testing.

Responsibilities

• Travel is required: 4 weeks out, 1 week at home.
• Hauling railroad ties, scrap metal, scrap wood, and equipment.
• Secure loads: strapping, tarping, and torquing.
• Long hours, overtime, and possible weekend work in all weather.
• Fill out daily paperwork and work independently.
• Operate GPS, ELD, and smartphone features.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
