Job summary

BrightView in Sarasota is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our field team. The role focuses on operating a Grapple/Knuckleboom Truck safely and efficiently while upholding company procedures.

You will perform daily safety checks, maintain and clean equipment, and coordinate with the Foreman on maintenance needs. A valid CDL Class B, at least 3 years of experience, and the ability to pass background, drug, and DOT medical screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating and maintaining equipment.
• Valid FL driver’s license - CDL Class B.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid DOT medical certificate or able to pass a DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Grapple/Knuckleboom Truck safely and effectively.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean heavy equipment as required.
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely stored when not in use.
• Advise Foreman of any maintenance or repair needs.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks.
• Practice workplace safety at all times.
