• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily fluid checks and grease fittings.
• Inspect fuel system, tires/tracks, lubricants and hydraulics for wear; report issues.
• Monitor fuel levels and coordinate refueling to prevent downtime.
• Track service dates and notify foreman of due dates.
• Listen for unusual noises and investigate abnormal sounds.
• Maintain alertness to unsafe conditions on the jobsite.
• Back up with a clear path; avoid pedestrians or vehicles.
• Verify backup alarms are functioning properly.
• Do not carry passengers or use phones/headphones while operating.
• Keep tracks clean and free of dirt and debris.
• Park and secure equipment; perform idle-time cleaning.
