Job description

Job Description

Seeking a talented design, implements, and optimizes rendering systems, shaders, and graphics features that deliver visual fidelity and real‑time performance. The role is hands‑on writing C++ and shader code, profiling CPU/GPU workloads, integrating art assets, and collaborating with UX tools (Altia Design/Kanzi Studio/Unity) and QA to ship stable, performant graphics for the target platforms Expect a balance of feature development, debugging, and performance engineering with frequent cross‑discipline collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Implement rendering features: Build lighting, materials, post processing, and animation systems to meet visual and functional requirements.
  • Write and optimize shaders: Author HLSL/GLSL/Metal shaders and tune them for correctness and performance across GPUs.
  • Profile and resolve bottlenecks: Use GPU/CPU profilers to identify hotspots and apply algorithmic or memory optimizations.
  • Integrate 3D assets and pipelines: Work with artists and tools to import, validate, and optimize meshes, textures, and materials.
  • Debug visual defects: Reproduce rendering issues, trace root causes, and implement robust fixes.
  • Maintain code quality: Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow engine coding standards.
  • Collaborate across teams: Coordinate with engine, tools, QA, and product to align on APIs, performance targets, and release scope.
  • Support platform portability: Implement abstractions and fallbacks for multiple graphics, APIs, and hardware capabilities.
Requirements
  • Graphics Software Development Engineer GUI and HMI experience: 6 to 12 years in GUI/HMI software development using Altia Design, QT, CGI, Kanzi Studio, Unity, or Unreal Engine
  • UI/UX asset handling: Hands on experience extracting and preparing assets from Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, Illustrator, and Confluence
  • Real time animation modeling: Practical experience modeling animations and effects in Altia Design, Kanzi Studio, Unity, or Unreal Engine
  • Model Based Development: Simulink/State flow and code generation tools (Embedded Coder, Target Link).
  • Programming and scripting: C/C++/C# and scripting with MATLAB and Python
  • Software architecture and integration: Strong knowledge of modular architecture design and system integration practices
  • AUTOSAR Familiarity — Working knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive concepts
  • Requirements and change management: Experience analyzing requirements and change requests, estimating development effort, and modeling requirements
  • Debugging and verification — Proven hands on software debugging skills across development and target environments
  • Performance profiling and optimization: Experience profiling and optimizing CPU/GPU workloads and embedded rendering performance
  • 3D asset optimization: Practical skills optimizing 3D assets (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) for runtime performance
  • Testing and logging tools: Experience with test harnesses, logging, and trace analysis tools
  • Hardware knowledge: Familiarity with automotive SoCs and microcontroller constraints
  • Process automation and CI/CD: Hands on experience automating builds, tests, and CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
  • Version control: Proficiency with Git, GitHub, SVN or equivalent versioning tools
  • PLM/ALM tools: Experience with Jira, Polarion, Jazz, or similar product/application lifecycle management systems
  • Supplier and cross functional coordination: Proven ability to coordinate external personnel and cross functional teams
  • Communication: Fluency in English for global collaboration and reporting
  • Mindset: Strong problem solving orientation, diligence, and focus on process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
