Job summary

KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Dearborn, MI, seeks a role to own end-to-end FEAS/FSE intake governance, aligning with Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, OTA and engineering teams.

The position ensures scope clarity, boundary diagrams and concept requirements for downstream evaluation and drives closure on open questions with accountable stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining Jira hygiene, providing planning inputs, and coordinating multi-stakeholder technical reviews to support

Qualifications

• Must have Python for data handling, automation and analysis.
• Must be able to use MagicDraw for boundary diagrams and MBSE inputs.
• Quality and data analysis to validate completeness and guide decisions.
• Familiar with Jira for real-time status tracking and field accuracy.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety impact routing and cross-domain assessment workflows.
• Experience in automotive feature scoping, systems engineering, FEAS/FSE planning or technical project management.
• Exposure to Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, OTA interfaces.
• Ability to structure ambiguous feature inputs into clear scope, assumptions and actions.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder technical reviews and approvals.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Own end-to-end FEAS/FSE intake scoping governance from feature definition through planning readiness.


• Drive alignment with Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, OTA, feature package and engineering stakeholders for impact clarification and assessment completion.


• Ensure scope, use cases, boundary diagrams and concept requirements are sufficiently complete for downstream technical evaluation.


• Track open questions from SCA Intake Review and drive timely closure with accountable stakeholders.


• Maintain Jira hygiene by keeping fields, statuses and task progress accurate and current.


• Provide capacity and Target PI planning inputs based on assessment status, scope clarity and dependency closure.

Requirements:

• Python for data handling, automation, status analysis or process efficiency improvements.


• MagicDraw usage for feature definition, boundary diagrams, systems engineering artifacts or MBSE-linked inputs.


• Quality and data analysis capability to validate completeness, identify gaps and support evidence-based planning decisions.


• Jira workflow discipline for real-time status tracking and field accuracy.


• Working knowledge of Functional Safety impact routing and cross-domain technical assessment workflows.


• Experience in automotive feature scoping, systems engineering, FEAS/FSE planning or technical project management.


• Exposure to Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, OTA and feature package assessment interfaces.


• Ability to structure ambiguous feature inputs into clear engineering scope, assumptions, open points and closure actions.


• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder technical reviews and approval forums.


• Hands-on experience maintaining engineering planning data in Jira or similar ALM/project-tracking tools.
