Job summary

This is not a design position, but a technical prepress specialty with emphasis on quality and turnaround. You will handle electronic separations, proofs, file conversion for plates, and QA checks, while collaborating with customers and team

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent education/experience in Graphics Reproduction or related fields.
• Advanced computer skills with operating systems, preflight software, and MS Office.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and color separation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute electronic art separations to customer artwork following internal tickets and printer specs.
• Output electronic proofs and hard color proofs.
• Convert approved proofs to final stepped files for plate output.
• Inspect finished files and complete QA checklist.
• Interact with customers or teammates on job specs and requirements.
• Manage multiple jobs across production stages.
• Operate Macintosh workstations with ERP and manufacturing knowledge.
• Assist with file transfers and documentation.
