Description
SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer position supports our growing corporate marketing and communication department. This position can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations in both print and electronic media. They have a knowledge of current design software, processes, from concept to final product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITES
- Works on a wide range of projects and media using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
- Assists in creative/design and production experience
- Assists in producing marketing materials
- Assists with producing catalogs/guides, brochures, corporate packets, posters, postcards, email campaigns
- Assist management team with electronic file management including properly setting up electronic files, following naming conventions, saving, and archiving
- Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet Moreton & Company’s standards and brand expectations
- Express ideas accurately
- Represent Moreton & Company and the client appropriately
- Work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Schedule project implementation based on workload
Qualifications
- Creative/design and production experience producing marketing materials
- Experience producing catalogs/guides, brochures, corporate packets, posters, postcards, email campaigns
- Electronic file management including properly setting up electronic files, following naming conventions, saving and archiving
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (PC platform)
- Social media experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Pro-active and a team player
- Self-directed and resourceful
- Attention to detail and respect for confidential information
- Associates or bachelor’s degree or equal experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or related field
- Ability to manage high volume of work and still create a quality product
- High organization and prioritization skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines
