Boomtown Casino Hotel and Verdi Grillhouse and Casino in Verdi, NV is seeking an onsite Graphic/Web Designer to produce graphics for print, web, social and marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency and production-ready assets.

You will design logos, posters, menus, banners, and digital graphics; develop web layouts with WordPress or Squarespace; edit images; and support large-format printing on site, collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong typography, color theory and layout design.
• Experience with web design using WordPress and/or Squarespace; HTML/CSS experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to complete tasks and projects efficiently under tight deadlines.

This onsite Graphic/Web Designer position supports Boomtown Casino Hotel and Verdi Grillhouse and Casino by producing graphics and layouts across print, web, social, and marketing channels, while maintaining brand consistency and delivering production-ready assets.

Role Overview

In this role, you will create design solutions for a range of materials, including logos, posters, banners, brochures, social media graphics, menus, promotions, and related collateral. You will also provide image editing and retouching, develop web graphics and layouts (including responsive design considerations), and support in-house large format printing needs on property.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually engaging designs for both print and digital formats, including logos, posters, banners, brochures, social media graphics, menus, promotions, and more.
• Compose balanced layouts by arranging text, images, and other visual elements for publications, websites, and marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity by ensuring design work aligns with brand guidelines and values.
• Edit and retouch images to improve quality and ensure compatibility with project requirements.
• Use graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools), to create and refine assets.
• Design and optimize web graphics, layouts, and user interface elements, leveraging WordPress and/or Squarespace experience and responsive design principles.
• Prepare files for production by using correct color modes, resolutions, and output formats.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, share design updates, and incorporate feedback.
• Stay current with design trends and industry best practices to inform design decisions.
• Present design concepts and explain the reasoning behind design choices to clients or internal team members.
• Deliver final design assets in multiple formats while meeting quality and technical specifications.
• Support large format printing and finishing for signage and marketing collateral on property.
• Ensure correct placement of print and digital materials across departments throughout the Boomtown property, including KOA, Chevron, Car Wash, VGC, and all Boomtown outlets.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Experience with web design using WordPress and/or Squarespace; HTML/CSS experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to complete tasks and projects efficiently under tight deadlines, including working under pressure, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering results promptly.
• Strong work ethic is required.
