Job summary

icreatives, a Portland-based design studio, is seeking a Graphic Production Designer to bridge concept and production in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

You will balance creative work with organizational tasks, manage assets, and develop clear production mechanicals for print and install across multiple projects. 2–4 years of related experience and proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite are required.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and detail orientation with good file hygiene.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to advocate for design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Asset and file management across multiple projects.
• Build structured workflows for design and production teams.
• Provide design and production support to ensure consistency from concept to final deliverable.
• Create polished presentation decks in Figma with production specs.
• Maintain graphic decks across active projects and ensure print readiness with color, resolution, bleeds, dielines.
• Track lifecycle of tasks from kickoff to delivery and refine handoff processes.

Graphic Production Designer | Full-Time I Hybrid

TTH: 60-70k / $30-35/hr

Location: Portland, OR

About Us

We're a small, collaborative design studio creating work across brand identity, retail, environmental graphics, and production design. We're looking for a Graphic Production Designer who brings both creative taste and operational rigor - someone who can make beautiful work and keep the behind-the-scenes process running smoothly.

In this role, you'll be the bridge between concept and final production. Day to day you'll balance design work with technical and organizational tasks that keep projects moving from idea to install.

What You'll Do

• Asset + File Management
• Create, organize, and maintain visual assets across multiple projects
• Build structured, easy-to-navigate workflows for both design and production teams
• Design & Production Support
• Partner closely with design and production teams to ensure consistency from concept to final deliverable
• Translate creative direction into clear, detailed production mechanicals
• Presentation + Storytelling
• Build polished presentation decks in Figma that communicate concepts and production specs
• Maintain and manage graphic decks across multiple active projects
• Mechanicals + Specifications
• Develop mechanical files based on approved designs and production requirements
• Prepare documentation for print production including material specs and sampling notes
• Ensure files are production-ready: color management, resolution, bleeds, crop marks, dielines
• Workflow + Project Coordination
• Track the lifecycle of creative and production tasks from kickoff to delivery
• Help build and refine handoff processes between creative and production
• Juggle multiple projects at once with strong time management and attention to detail

What You Bring

2-4 years of experience in graphic design and/or production design

• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and file hygiene
• Collaborative mindset - confident making design calls and supporting the team
• Understanding of print production processes and materials
• Experience creating clear, client-facing presentations

Bonus Skills

• Experience with environmental graphics, retail, or experiential projects
• Interest in material exploration, sampling, and fabrication
• Background working in small, fast-moving creative teams

Work Environment
