We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Graphic Designer with a strong focus on Production Design to join our creative team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be taking approved concepts and brand assets and expertly prepping, sizing, formatting, and standardizing them for flawless production across print and digital media.
We operate in a fast-paced retail and branding environment where no two days are the same. You will frequently juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously—ranging from packaging dielines, store signage, and retail wraps to promotional print collateral and digital assets. If you pride yourself on technical accuracy, file preparation precision, and efficient workflow execution, we’d love to hear from you.
Lead Production Design & Asset Prep (Primary): Own the pre-press and production pipeline, translating concepts and approved brand artwork into print-ready files (dielines, bleed, color profiles, spot colors, trim marks) and optimized digital deliverables.
Packaging & Retail Execution: Prepare, adapt, and roll out standardized graphics across multiple SKUs, packaging formats, in-store displays, and promotional retail signage.
Digital & Print Asset Creation: Adapt master creative assets into various sizes and specifications for web, social media, digital displays, and marketing collateral.
File Integrity & Digital Asset Management: Ensure all master files, vectors, and design templates are meticulously layered, named, formatted, and archived according to established brand standards.
Multi-Project Management: Seamlessly pivot between multiple fast-moving production queues and deadlines while maintaining strict quality control and visual consistency.
Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to ensure production output stays true to creative vision and brand guidelines from initial handoff to final vendor delivery.
Adobe Suite Proficiency: Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) with deep knowledge of vector art, typography, clipping masks, color modes (CMYK vs. RGB/Pantone), and resolution standards.
Production & Pre-Press Expertise: Solid understanding of technical production requirements, including dielines, packaging layout, print mechanicals, bleed, trim, and large-format/retail specs.
Relevant Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing strong production, branding, packaging, and/or retail display work.
Extreme Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for technical accuracy—catching typos, misalignment, color inconsistencies, or resolution issues before assets go to print or publish.
Adaptability & Multitasking: Proven ability to jump between diverse projects and prioritize efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Industry Bonus: Familiarity or prior experience designing for retail packaging or the cannabis space is a major plus, but not required.
