HOW A GRAPHIC DESIGNER/VIDEO PRODUCER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

GDIT is seeking a Graphic Designer/Video Producer specialist with an advanced visualization skillset. Candidate would be a part of a high-performing team of designers responsible for a wide variety of graphic design tasks, including visualizing and creating reports, infographics, flyers and other products while helping to maintain a cohesive brand identity. This position would be the lead creative in video and multimedia projects, with duties including basic script editing, video and photoshoot planning and execution, and editing.

Requirements:

1. High-level skills in modern graphic design, with basic copy-editing skills
2. High-level skills in all aspects of video and multimedia production
3. High-level skills in still photography
4. Creating and editing visual content of high-level information conveyance (strategic plans, briefings)
5. Elevating and standardizing the full range of all print and digital publications (annual report, audit and inspections reports, outreach flyers, websites, etc.).
6. Ability to work closely with the leadership team and data analytics team to help promote and enhance content including reports, briefs, and visual data.
7. 2+ years relevant experience
8. Active TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge of:

1. Principles of graphic design, multimedia, data visualization, and standards for the production of complex, custom information graphics and videos.
2. Graphic design/video editing software to illustrate abstract ideas, complex data and concepts and to depict highly technical subject matter.
3. Script development and beginning-to-end management of video and multimedia production processes
4. Still photography abilities, including both event documentation and professional portrait photography
5. The ability to provide guidance on:
6. Translating abstract ideas and concepts into clear visual representation.
7. Developing comprehensive layouts for review, comment, and final approval.
8. Interpreting, analyzing, organizing and transforming information from statistical information, report notes, or general descriptions to be visually depicted into creative design solutions that effectively communicate the customer's objectives and requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,826 - $131,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
