Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with an expert eye for design and a passion for producing creative visuals that support the client’s mission and strengthen brand identity.

The role requires delivering accessible, high-quality deliverables—logos, publications, presentations, and multimedia content—while collaborating with stakeholders in a government/defense context. This onsite position demands a strong portfolio and DoD/IC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia products or a BS degree and 17+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia products.
• Experience with Section 508 compliance for designing and developing accessible products.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Word, and design tools such as Premiere Pro, XD, After Effects, and MAPublisher.
• Experience facilitating client-facing discussions to interpret workforce messaging, display data visually, and conceptualize analytic ideas.
• Experience working within the government or defense sectors.
• Knowledge of DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) processes and requirements.
• Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of design work, including visual solutions for complex challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver design outcomes that align with mission-focused goals.

Responsibilities

Salary at Castalia Systems is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, position knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $104,000.00 to $113,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Castalia Systems' total compensation package for employees.
