Job summary

FASTSIGNS #161301 in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Graphic Designer/Production to blend creative design with hands-on production. You will create computer-generated graphics, prepare files for print, and operate printing and plotting equipment.

You’ll use the Adobe Creative Suite, manage customer logos, and ensure accuracy before output. The role includes cross-training across machines, collaborating with a teammate, and supporting production as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite software.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs.
• Sits and views a computer screen for long periods (4+ hours).
• Able to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output for print or mounting.
• Modify designs from customer drawings or provided files for output.
• Determine layout, typography, and sizing based on space and production needs.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before output and ensure correct materials and settings.
• Maintain customer logo library and convert graphic files when needed.
