Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Graphic Designer/Production specialist who will design graphics, set up prints, and manage production tasks. You will use Adobe Suite and center equipment, sharing duties with a teammate to cover both design and production.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of graphic design experience and a High School diploma or equivalent; strong attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.

The Graphic Designer/Production has a dual role working in graphic design and production. You will be responsible for graphic designs, setting up designs for print and sending jobs to their respective machines. There will be some production work such as printing, plotting, weeding and masking. You will be sharing responsibilities with another individual in the graphics and production area.

You will using the Adobe Suite for design work along with the CRM used to move jobs throughout the center. We do cross train individuals to work all the machines in the production area in order to assist as needed.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Adobe Suite software
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
