FASTSIGNS #161301 in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Graphic Designer/Production to blend creative design with hands-on production. You will create computer-generated graphics, prepare files for print, and operate printing and plotting equipment.

You’ll use the Adobe Creative Suite, manage customer logos, and ensure accuracy before output. The role includes cross-training across machines, collaborating with a teammate, and supporting production as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience.

The Graphic Designer/Production has a dual role working in graphic design and production. You will be responsible for graphic designs, setting up designs for print and sending jobs to their respective machines. There will be some production work such as printing, plotting, weeding and masking. You will be sharing responsibilities with another individual in the graphics and production area. You will using the Adobe Suite for design work along with the CRM used to move jobs throughout the center. We do cross train individuals to work all the machines in the production area in order to assist as needed.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will:

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
