Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Graphic Designer/Photographer to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) within the Office of Corporate Communications. The role covers design, layout, photo capture, captioning, and print production for various projects.

Responsibilities include using the Adobe Creative Suite on Windows, Nikon camera systems, and ensuring quality with the Graphic Design Lead. On-site work at NGA facilities with possible assignments across events and investigations.

Qualifications

• Must know entire Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud on Windows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and layout support, text processing, page mark-up, graphic scanning, large and small format printing, sign marking, engraving, mounting & laminating.
• Ensure NGA online Local Work Order Tool entries are accessible to Government stakeholders.
• Stay current with evolving software for NGA needs.
• Review all products for errors with the Graphic Design Lead.
• Design products for printing on digital presses.
• Provide high-quality professional digital photography (portrait and on-scene).
• Write proper photo captions for all photographs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
