Job summary

One Day In July in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Graphic Designer and Marketer to join our in-house team. You will create and execute marketing campaigns across print, digital, social media, and TV, helping establish our presence in the St.

Petersburg area and coordinate local events. The role requires mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, strong design skills, and the ability to work with the marketing director with some independence.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong design skills and on-brand creativity.

• Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Instagram, Facebook).
• Photography and photo editing skills; video editing a plus.

Responsibilities

Headquartered in Burlington, Vermont, One Day In July is a rapidly growing investment firm committed to distrusting the financial industry with a focus on reducing fees and improving portfolio performance for investors.

One Day In July provides investment management and fiduciary advice, generally focused on index funds, to clients across the United States. Our growth has been rapid, and we are expanding our marketing team to support our new office location in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Job Description

As a Graphic Designer and Marketer at One Day In July, you will work with the in-house marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns. You will work across multiple marketing channels including print, digital, social media, and TV to help establish One Day In July’s presence in the area. In addition, this role will coordinate and advertise small scale events for the St. Petersburg office.

• Utilize various Adobe apps to expertly execute graphics that are in line with One Day In July’s brand.
• Identify local marketing opportunities to promote the St. Petersburg office.
• Work with local vendors to schedule and purchase marketing campaigns in the region.
• Create content for marketing campaigns.
• Work with the local St. Petersburg advisor team to plan, execute, and promote events on a regular basis.
• Work closely with the One Day In July compliance team to ensure all advertising and promotional materials follow the SEC marketing rules.
• Pay close attention to recordkeeping, ensuring all assets are kept organized in the firm’s recordkeeping system.
• Analyze results of marketing campaigns and events in the St. Petersburg region.

A strong candidate will:

• Be a master of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and InDesign.
• Possess excellent design skills and have the ability to be creative while staying on brand.
• Be comfortable operating somewhat independently, with remote supervision. You will be in regular contact with the marketing director and will work closely with the internal marketing team at One Day In July.
• Be able to take initiative and make decisions that align with the firm’s goals.
• Be experienced using digital ad platforms including Google Ads, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Possess basic photography and photo editing skills.
• Video creation and editing skills are a plus.
