Job summary

Aquent Talent in the United States seeks a Senior Graphic Designer to transform complex ideas into visually stunning designs that support strategy and business objectives. You will mentor peers, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and deliver compelling presentations rooted in brand guidance.

This 3-6 month hybrid role requires strong concept thinking, an outstanding portfolio, and mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a senior graphic designer.
  • Portfolio showing outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.
  • Advanced conceptual design skills and presentation design.
  • Experience in fast-paced agency or in-house environments.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to translate client vision into design within brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with internal stakeholders to understand vision through listening and diplomacy.
  • Collaborate with art directors and cross-disciplinary teams to develop strategy-rooted design solutions.
  • Articulate ideas and implement advanced creative solutions for multifaceted projects.

About the Role

Are you a talented and motivated creative professional with design strategy and innovative solutions at your core? We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team and make a significant impact by transforming complex ideas into visually stunning and effective designs. In this role, you will not only craft engaging visuals but also play a pivotal part in shaping strategic communication, collaborating with diverse teams, and mentoring peers. Start date: August 31, 2026

Term: 3-6 months with extension

Hours: 9 am-6 pm ET

Locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, St. Louis

Candidates must be in one of these locations, near a client office, and agree to a hybrid work arrangement. They will need to be in the office on their first day and as business needs require.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to cultivate and maintain strong relationships, understanding their vision through active listening and diplomacy.
  • Collaborate with art directors, creative directors, and cross-disciplinary teams to develop and execute compelling design solutions and engaging ideas rooted in strategy.
  • Articulate ideas and implement advanced creative solutions for multifaceted design projects, exhibiting strong business acumen.
  • Conduct design consultations to conceptualize and execute solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and co-develop creative briefs, storyboards, and layouts to effectively communicate design ideas that are persuasive and inclusive.
  • Design clear and visually compelling pitches and presentations for various corporate marketing, business communications, and business development initiatives.
  • Mentor creative project team members in developing conceptual skills and provide constructive feedback to implement project visions.
  • Act as a project manager for assigned projects, creating timelines and estimates to align with project budgets.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize milestones, and influence stakeholders and design colleagues to deliver desirable solutions within timeframes and budgets.
  • Initiate and successfully engage in creative ideation sessions and design sprints.
  • Accept administrative responsibilities such as project management and internal communications alongside creative development and design.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience as a Senior Graphic Designer.
  • Five-plus years of related experience as a senior graphic designer.
  • Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.
  • Advanced creative conceptual design skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in designing for presentations, pursuits, social and paid campaigns, and marketing collateral.
  • Ability to understand a client's vision through active listening, advanced communication and diplomacy with business partners, project owners, managers, and internal team members.
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines and bring impactful design that supports the vision, story, and business objectives of our clients.
  • Ability to develop creative briefs, mood, and image boards.
  • Sound business acumen to adapt while working alongside client-serving professionals.
  • Advanced technical understanding of digital media and print design, both in-house and with vendors.
  • Willingness to accept administrative responsibilities such as project management and internal communications along with creative development and design.
  • Agreeable to a hybrid work arrangement - remotely and at a local office on Day 1 and as required by business needs.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in the Financial Services industry and in creating proposals.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Workfront.
