Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team. Responsibilities include creating color graphics and vinyl outputs, adjusting designs from customer files, and ensuring accuracy before production.

You will determine layout, typography, and output methods to meet client needs. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of graphic design experience, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Determine the best output method based on the customer's needs.
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more).
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output for print and substrate applications.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings or files for production output.
• Determine size, layout, and type style based on space and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before output and ensure correct materials and device settings.
• Maintain customer logo library and convert graphic files.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied


• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media


• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.


• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate


• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
