Job summary

Mphasis, a leading technology services company, seeks a Senior Graphics Developer in Spring, Texas to design and optimize GPU software and low-level GPU integration for Linux and Windows.

You will collaborate across NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and ARM platforms, profiling performance and debugging drivers, with a focus on Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX 12, CUDA, HIP, and ROCm. The role expects strong C++ skills and Linux/Windows internals experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Graphics, GPU Software, Rendering, Visualization, or Systems Programming.
  • Strong C++ programming skills.
  • Good understanding of GPU Architecture and Graphics Pipelines.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system internals.
  • Hands-on experience with GPU performance profiling and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop GPU software and low-level GPU integration for Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Build and support GPU platforms for NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and ARM-based systems.
  • Design graphics solutions for high-performance remote visualization and rendering.
  • Analyze, profile, and optimize GPU performance to improve application efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across graphics APIs, GPU drivers, operating systems, networking, and hardware.
  • Develop benchmarking and performance analysis tools for GPU applications.
  • Build and support distributed rendering technologies, including remote rendering, ray tracing, distributed caching, and multi-GPU solutions.
  • Evaluate and enable new GPU hardware, ensuring compatibility across workstation, cloud, and edge platforms.
  • Work with customers to troubleshoot production issues and recommend technical solutions.
  • Debug complex issues involving Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX, GPU drivers, operating systems, networking, and hardware, and perform root cause analysis.

Role: Senior Graphics developer

Location: Spring Texas

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop GPU software and low-level GPU integration for Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Build and support GPU platforms for NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and ARM-based systems.

Mandatory Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Graphics, GPU Software, Rendering, Visualization, or Systems Programming.
  • Strong C++ programming skills.
  • Good understanding of GPU Architecture and Graphics Pipelines.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system internals.
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following:
  • Vulkan
  • OpenGL
  • DirectX 12

  • HIP

  • Experience in GPU performance profiling, analysis, optimization, and benchmarking.
  • Hands-on experience with performance analysis tools such as:

  • Experience working with NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Strong debugging skills across GPU drivers, graphics APIs, Linux/Windows, networking, and hardware.
  • Experience with system-level debugging and root cause analysis.
