Job summary

Ebby Halliday Companies is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to create and direct visual materials across print and digital channels in Plano, Texas. You will craft brochures, ads, banners, and media assets while helping build the brand through thoughtful design and production excellence.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, proficiency in design software on PC/Mac, and strong communication and multitasking abilities; you will collaborate with printers and external resources to deliver

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in graphic design; or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years experience as a graphic designer on a variety of media including Internet.
• Proficient in PC and Mac design programs.
• Strong creative and conceptual skills.
• Strong knowledge of printing and electronic production methods.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create new designs for internal and external printed marketing materials. This includes flyers, brochures, advertising, posters, direct marketing materials as well as digital assets, graphics and banners. (60-65%)
• Create presentation materials to support training, management meeting, and executive presentations. (10-15%)
• Develop and implement design strategies to enhance company’s brand image. (5-10%)
• May recommend, implement and maintain hardware and software requirements for the department. (5-10%)
• May write advertising copy, blogs, feature articles, newspaper advertising, bios and press releases. (5-10%)
• Recommend, source and manage outside creative resources (freelance designers, etc.) as needed. (0-5%)
• May deliver designed materials to printers/vendors. (0-5%)
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Job description

This position creates and directs graphic-related work for the company. Design work may include newspaper advertising, web site content, trade show exhibits, direct mail pieces, corporate identity work, catalogs, flyers and other promotional and presentation materials.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
