We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our print shop team in New York City. This is a hands-on design position for someone who enjoys taking a project from a customer's initial idea through design, production, and a finished printed product. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design skills with excellent communication and customer service abilities. You'll work directly with customers to understand their vision, recommend creative solutions, prepare production-ready artwork, and help ensure every project meets our standards for quality and accuracy.
We’re looking for more than someone who can create attractive graphics. The right candidate understands that great design begins with understanding the customer. You should be comfortable sitting down with a customer, asking the right questions, explaining creative options, and helping them turn an idea into a finished product they're excited to use. Patience, professionalism, creativity, and clear communication are just as important in this position as technical design ability.
Experience working in a print shop, sign shop, copy center, marketing agency, or other customer-facing design environment is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a strong portfolio and the right combination of technical and interpersonal skills. If you're a talented designer who enjoys working with people and takes pride in producing high-quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
