Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join our Las Vegas marketing team. This role supports the marketing and events groups across Ellis Island, The Front Yard, Village Pubs, and related projects, crafting visuals that strengthen our casino, hotel, and entertainment brand.

The ideal candidate has a formal design background with a robust portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a passion for producing engaging content for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in hospitality/entertainment/gaming.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing preferred.
• Ability to design for both digital and print formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team at Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery. This role will support the marketing and events teams in completing design work for Ellis Island Casino, Hotel, the Front Yard, the Village Pubs, and other various projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, helping to design marketing materials that enhance the visual identity of our casino, hotel, and entertainment brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, proficiency in design software, and a passion for creating engaging visual content that resonates with our diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Lead Designer, and larger team to develop creative concepts that align with business objectives and strategies.
• Work closely with the marketing team to understand project goals and objectives and translate them into creative visual concepts.
• Develop visually compelling graphics for a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads, print collateral (brochures, flyers, posters), social media content, email newsletters, and event signage.
• Design promotional materials for special events and seasonal promotions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and adhering to department processes and SLAs.
• Handle design revisions and feedback from team members, adjusting as needed to meet business objectives and deadlines.
• Think strategically about how each design fits into the overall marketing plan and long-term property goals.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms and media.
• Stay current on the latest design trends and seek ways to incorporate them into assets.
• Create assets for the website, social media channels, email campaigns, and online advertising.
• Proactively collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new creative ideas.
• Provide updates on projects during team meetings.
• Prepare files, perform quality assurance checks on files for delivery to vendors, and coordinate deliveries of any materials.
• Organize and maintain design files, ensuring they are properly archived and accessible for future use.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the marketing team, providing status and requested information in a timely manner.

Skills / Experience

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within the hospitality, entertainment, and/or gaming industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing, preferred.
• Ability to create designs for both digital and print formats.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Registration card.
• The ability to submit to and pass a background check and drug test is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
