Job summary

Sahamati Foundation in Bengaluru is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join our communications and design team. You will craft visual assets for digital and print platforms, support social media, web, events, and internal branding, and translate briefs into compelling visuals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of graphic design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a graphic design or visual communication role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus) or Figma
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work
• Understanding of layout principles, typography, color theory, and branding
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Ability to interpret briefs and convert them into visually impactful designs

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality graphics for digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, presentations, videos, and the Sahamati website
• Create marketing collaterals such as brochures, event branding, standees, merchandise (T-shirts, mugs, etc.), and infographics
• Collaborate closely with the marketing, communications, and content teams to translate ideas into visual concepts
• Assist in developing brand templates and maintaining visual consistency across all outputs
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and awareness initiatives
• Edit short motion graphics/video content as needed using basic animation tools
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing communications and design team.
