Job summary

Interdependence is building a modern PR platform and team in Mumbai, delivering visuals for video content across brands. We seek a Senior Graphic Designer, Video Content, to craft high-quality static graphics, illustrations, and branded imagery that align with our storytelling and brand standards.

You will partner with video editors, motion designers, and the creative team to translate concepts into production-ready designs, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Portfolio shows 2D design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with Figma a plus.
• Experience creating static assets for video and multimedia.
• Can interpret briefs and deliver production-ready designs.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer, Video Content to create compelling visual assets that support our video production and motion graphics teams. This role focuses on designing high-quality, static 2D graphics, illustrations, layouts, and branded imagery that will be incorporated into video content.

You'll work closely with our video editors, motion graphics designers, and creative team to translate concepts into polished visual assets that elevate storytelling and maintain brand consistency. This is a design-focused role, not a motion graphics or video editing position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design high-quality 2D graphics, illustrations, typography, and visual assets for video content.
• Create static imagery, backgrounds, title cards, infographics, and branded graphics for use in video production.
• Collaborate with motion graphics designers and video editors to develop visuals that can be animated and incorporated into finished videos.
• Develop and maintain consistent visual styles across video projects while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Prepare and organize layered, editable design files for seamless handoff to motion graphics and editing teams.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high creative standards.
• Incorporate feedback from creative leads and internal stakeholders to refine and finalize designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably supporting video production, digital media, or creative agencies.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D graphic design, visual storytelling, typography, composition, and layout.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools is a plus.
• Experience creating static visual assets specifically for video, digital content, or multimedia production.
• Understanding motion graphics workflows and how to prepare design files for animation teams; hands-on animation experience is not required.
• Strong understanding of branding, color theory, typography, and visual composition.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into polished, production-ready designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with video editors, motion designers, and creative stakeholders.
• Based in Mumbai or surrounding cities.
