Job summary

Auburn University Outreach is seeking a Communications & Design Student Employee to support branding, graphics, newsletters and social media. This role offers hands-on experience in higher education marketing and collaboration with the Outreach Communications and Marketing team.

You will develop portfolio-ready design work while promoting outreach programs and events. Ideal candidates are pursuing Graphic Design, Media Studies, Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related

Qualifications

• Enrolled student at Auburn University.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
• Understanding of social media platforms for professional use.
• Strong attention to detail and writing & proofreading skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow brand guidelines.
• Reliable self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design & Templates: Design graphics and create branded templates for social media, newsletters, presentations and internal use.
• Newsletter Support: Assist with monthly Outreach newsletter updates, including graphic elements and layout.
• Social Media Management: Create, manage and post content for Auburn University Outreach's social channels and maintain a content calendar.
• Team Support: Provide general communications and marketing support and assist with special projects.
