Job summary

The University of Central Oklahoma School of Design invites applications for a Full-time, Non-Tenure Track, Assistant Professor in Graphic Design. This position supports B.F.A. programs in Graphic and Interior Design and seeks candidates with strong drawing/illustration and design skills.

Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in typography, branding, UI/UX, and a commitment to student-centered education and collaboration with faculty.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Graphic Design or related field; MFA/PhD required by time of employment.
• Minimum one year of university teaching experience.
• Ability to teach Design Foundations, Computer Graphics, Typography, Branding, UI/UX.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Design Foundations, Graphic Design, Typography, Branding, UI/UX.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in curriculum development.
• Collaborate with faculty across the College of Fine Arts and Design.
