Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden is seeking a Graphic Design Manager to translate marketing and organizational objectives into print, digital and experiential design. You will lead campaigns, publications, digital content and onsite visuals, collaborating across departments to strengthen the Garden’s brand and engage diverse audiences.

The role requires strong project management, a robust portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with experience in web and email design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred, with coursework in graphic design.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional graphic design experience across print and digital media.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual and production work.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to final execution independently.
• Experience with web and email design.
• Experience with Elementor and Salesforce Account Engagement preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager on campaigns, initiatives, events, exhibits and organizational projects.
• Develop print and digital collateral: ads, brochures, publications, event materials, social media graphics, emails, signage.
• Coordinate with Art Director from concept through production and final output.
• Collaborate with Marketing on website and email campaigns, ensuring visual consistency and accessible UX.
• Manage multiple projects with tight timelines and maintain quality and brand standards.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines and visual standards with the Art Director.
• Coordinate photography and video shoots, including planning and direction.
• Create and edit motion graphics and videography to support campaigns.
