Job summary

Desert Botanical Garden seeks a thoughtful Graphic Design Manager to translate objectives into print, digital, and experiential visuals. You will lead campaigns, events, and publications while upholding the Garden’s brand and accessibility standards.

Collaborating with the Art Director and Marketing, you’ll supervise projects from concept to production, ensuring high-quality, on-brand design across channels and venues, with occasional after-hours support for Garden campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred with relevant coursework.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional graphic design experience across print and digital media.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual and production design versatility.
• Ability to manage projects from concept through final execution and defend creative choices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for marketing campaigns, events, exhibits and organizational projects.
• Develop print and digital design collateral including ads, brochures, publications, and on-site materials.
• Collaborate with Art Director and Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and accessible user experience.
• Coordinate photography and video shoots and provide creative direction as needed.
• Maintain brand guidelines and visual standards across all Garden communications.
• Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and stakeholde expectations.
