Job summary

Quartz is seeking a creative Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing team for Summer 2027 in Madison, WI. You will contribute to print and digital campaigns, align assets with brand standards, and collaborate with experienced designers and marketers to deliver meaningful projects.

You’ll gain hands-on experience through the full creative process, receive mentorship, and participate in reviews and portfolio-building activities.

Qualifications

• Provide a link to their design portfolio on résumé.
• Demonstrate interest in Marketing, Brand Development, or Graphic Design as a career path.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator).
• Completed at least one college-level course in Graphic Design or Design Fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Designing and updating print and digital marketing materials.
• Create visual assets that align with Quartz's brand standards.
• Assist with advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Create and maintain icons and graphics within Quartz's design library.
• Edit, license, and prepare stock photography and digital assets.
• Support internal and external communications initiatives.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and business partners on various projects.
• Participate in creative reviews and contribute ideas.
