Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our vibrant marketing team in Paarl on an internship. This hands-on role offers real design projects and close collaboration with senior designers to build your portfolio and learn branding best practices in a supportive environment.

You will assist with campaigns, develop basic layouts, prepare print-ready files, and contribute fresh ideas.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a Graphic Design degree or diploma.
Basic proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
A portfolio of academic and personal design work.
Strong interest in visual design, typography, and layout.
Willing to learn and take direction from seniors.
Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist senior designers in creating visual assets for campaigns, social media, and print.
Develop basic graphic elements, layouts, and templates under guidance.
Prepare files for print and digital use with accuracy.
Participate in brainstorming and contribute ideas.
Help maintain brand consistency across outputs.
Learn and apply new design techniques and software features.
