Job summary

The Imagine Group in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Summer 2027 Graphic Design Intern to support marketing initiatives by creating visual assets across digital and print channels. This in-person internship offers hands-on experience and collaboration with Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams.

You’ll assist design and production, refresh social graphics and presentations, and organize project files while following brand standards.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing design work.
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or related field (current student or recent graduate).
• Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design & Produce: Assist in design and production of marketing materials across digital and print channels.
• Create & Update: Develop and refresh external-facing assets like social media graphics, presentations, event materials, and email content.
• Support Development: Aid in creating internal-facing materials such as sales tools, employee communications, and company presentations.
• Collaborate & Brainstorm: Work with Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams and contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions.
• Organize & Prepare: Organize design files, assets, and project libraries; prepare files for production following brand standards.

This is an internship at Imagine, located in Shakopee, MN. Imagine is a visual communication organization that combines cutting-edge printing technology with the latest communication trends to deliver strategic worldwide campaigns and messaging for consumer and entertainment brands. This role matters because it allows an intern to support marketing initiatives by creating a wide range of visual assets, gaining hands‑on experience, and contributing directly to both internal and external brand marketing efforts. The intern will collaborate on creative and production capabilities within a supportive environment.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including basic file management.
• Bonus: A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative, combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative setting.
