Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Graphic Design Coordinator in Frankfort to coordinate design work and produce manual and computer-generated materials. The role blends client consultation, layout development, and hands-on production support for printed, display, and web products.

The position plans and coordinates design assignments, develops complex themes, prepares proofs, and supports team file workflows across multiple formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or closely related field is required.
• Two years of experience in graphic design.
• Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to identify needs and create professional manual and computer-generated designs
• Develop complex themes to create complete layouts using state-of-the-art graphic design software
• Conduct research for projects using all available resources
• Assist other designers in streamlining digital files
• Operate scanners, copiers, and large format plotters to produce proofs and other printed materials
