Job summary

Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC) Kalispell Campus seeks a part-time student helper in Communications and Marketing to support the Lead Graphic Designer. The role includes creating content for newsletters, media screens, posters, and event materials, and assisting with layout for weekly newsletters and flyers.

Open to FVCC students enrolled in at least six credits per semester, with a flexible schedule 8 a.m.–5 p.m., up to 19 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs for word processing, data entry and emailing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating content for newsletters, media screens, privy press and posters.
• Assist in creating event materials like posters, menus and signage.
• Help organize and layout two weekly digital newsletters and a weekly printed news flyer.
• Reports to the Executive Director, College Relations, Communications, and Marketing, or Designee.
• Other duties as needed.
