• Relevant qualifications include a minimum of a BFA/BA degree in graphic design or a closely related field (masters degree preferred), a strong portfolio of professional work, and prior teaching or mentoring experience in higher education.
• Strong classroom and studio instruction skills, with the ability to facilitate critiques, guide project-based learning, and support diverse learning styles.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with industry-standard design software (such as Adobe Creative Cloud), knowledge of current design trends and best practices, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding students in concept development, design execution, and portfolio-building, providing timely feedback, assessing student work, and maintaining accurate grades and records.
