The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Graphic Arts courses that prepare students for careers in print production.
The role emphasizes press operations, production workflow, and prepress, with hands‑on instruction in Heidelberg and Indigo press environments. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in graphic arts and at least five years of industry experience, plus a passion for teaching in a community college setting.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a graphic arts relatedfield required.
Experience Requirements: At least five years of work experience inthe Graphic Arts field with production expertise required. Must bean effective, enthusiastic teacher committed to teaching GraphicArts skills at the community college level.

Teach courses to prepare students for a career in Graphic ArtsDesign and Technology; emphasis of this program is on pressoperations, print media and production, and prepress. InstructGraphic Arts students in some of the following courses: HeidelbergPress Operation, Indigo Press Operation, Color Theory, ColorManagement, Prepress. Knowledge of Preflight, RIP, Digital FrontEnd, and Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop,including AI within. Prepress and press workflow experiencerequired.
