Job summary

Marine Corps Association is seeking a Staff Graphic Artist assistant to support graphic design across departments including marketing, fundraising, and events. You will help create ads, social media graphics, print materials, and branding with oversight from the Staff Graphic Artist and VP of Membership Marketing & Support.

This civilian, full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm with an hourly rate of $21.50–$22.50.

Qualifications

• Familiar with some elements of graphic design including Mac platform Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, HTML5, Illustrator, MS Office Applications and Dreamweaver. Online and web design experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a variety of graphic design projects for social media graphics, promotional materials, events, and magazines
• Assist in developing creative concepts and art direction
• Assist in creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Assist in developing advertisements, illustrations, logos, brands, signage, posters, brochures, and other graphic design elements
• Assist in supporting multiple concurrent projects and ensure deadlines are met
• Effectively communicate concepts in graphic, visual means
• Assist in creating compelling & appealing visual designs for marketing, websites, and print projects
• Assist in generating print and multimedia materials for internal and external audiences
• Assist all departments in the preparation of images and videos for promotional use
• Assist in developing creative, attractive, and effective ads for each publication

Description

Assist the Staff Graphic Artist by providing graphic art and design support to all departments within MCA to include creation of ads, social media posts, print materials, branding and signage to assist in marketing and fundraising efforts. Design requests and assignments for this position will be coordinated through the Staff Graphic Artist and/or the Vice President of Membership Marketing & Support to ensure project priorities, timelines, and department needs are managed effectively.

Employment type - Full-time

Schedule - Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Hourly rate - $21.50-22.50

This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)
