Job summary

Analytica is seeking a Senior Graph Database Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of graph data models and ETL pipelines for a complex federal program. You will work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in enterprise databases, 4+ years with Cypher, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and experience with government systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise database environments.
• 4+ years of Cypher experience including data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong experience designing and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting federal financial, compliance, regulatory, or tax systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an IRS Public Trust clearance (MBI).

Responsibilities

• Lead graph database development and ETL processes on large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Design, implement, and maintain graph data models, ensuring alignment with ontological references and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data structures, schemas, indexes, and relationships to optimize performance, scalability, and analytical use cases.
• Identify and document entity relationships, referential integrity constraints, and key structures, including analysis of tradeoffs between alternative graph and hybrid schemas.
• Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and stakeholder teams to validate data accuracy, formatting, and reliability.
• Document graph models, ETL processes, and scripts consistent with industry best practices and government guidelines.
