Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in public administration, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; plus two years of experience in grants administration, public finance, or related work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Manage all pre-award grant activities: researching funding opportunities, designing project scopes, writing proposals, and submitting grant applications.
• Collaborate with department heads and staff to assess potential funding opportunities.
• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities; monitor announcements, funding cycles, eligibility, deadlines, and changes.
• Maintain a calendar of grant opportunities and support preparation, review, and submission of grant applications.
• Ensure required approvals are obtained prior to submission and support audits and monitoring visits.
• Maintain grant files and supporting documentation; monitor funded projects and budgets for compliance.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations for departments and Town Council as needed.
• Interpret laws and regulations pertaining to Federal, State, Local, and external partner compliance; liaison with funding agencies and internal departments.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on grant requirements and best practices; assist in developing grant policies and internal controls.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
