Job summary

The National Science Foundation seeks a Program Support Specialist to provide daily administrative and programmatic support for the peer review process. You will work closely with NSF Program Directors to identify technical and commercial experts for scientific review panels and to provide feedback on grant proposals.

Responsibilities include data entry into NSF systems, creation and management of supporting documents for review panels, and drafting analysis of proposal budgets to inform NSF

Responsibilities

• Enter key data into NSF systems and maintain accurate records for review panels.
• Create and manage supporting documents for assigned review panels.
• Review proposal budgets and draft the review analysis to support NSF award or decline decisions.
• Coordinate with Program Directors to identify and recruit technical and commercial experts for scientific review panels.
• Provide administrative and technical services as requested, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets and calendars, conducting data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, planning and supporting small to medium-sized meetings, and corresponding with grantees and reviewers via email and telephone regarding all aspects of the review process and grants management.
