Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Grants Administrator in the Department of Pediatrics to oversee assigned research awards and projects, handling pre- and post-award grantsmanship, budgeting and financial management, reporting and invoicing. The role supports compliance with sponsor guidelines and MUSC processes while coordinating with internal teams and sponsors.

This position may offer partial remote work after orientation, with a standard 40-hour week and a salary range

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and three years business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Grant Review: review grant proposals and contracts for compliance and accuracy, liaise with faculty and sponsors.
• Analyze CTAs and translate contract terms into study tracking templates for sponsor invoicing.
• Manage post‑award grants including resubmissions, no-cost extensions and budget reflections.
• Ensure expenditures align with grant guidelines and monitor budget extensions and amendments.
• Support procurement, reimbursements, and post‑award questions as needed.
