Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred in related field; Business Administration or Public Health preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of research administrative or financial experience OR 3 years of research administrative related experience required.
• The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-award and post-award functions such as allocation of research labor costs across funding sources and approval of purchase requisitions.
• Coordinates departmental research effort reporting and ensures timely submission of certified effort reports in compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines.
• Works with institutional central offices to submit sponsor reports, troubleshoot and resolve matters.
• Develops annual research/clinical trial budgets with investigators; reconciles monthly expenses and forecasts expenditures; provides monthly status reports to PIs.
