Job summary

Amerit Consulting is seeking a Grants Research Administrator for a hybrid, 6‑month engagement with a California Medical Center affiliated with a public university. The role supports pre/post-award activities, budget development, and proposal preparation, reporting to RMS leadership and coordinating with PI and subcontractors.

Qualifications include a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, financial and training support for contract and grant proposal development, grant-writing, funding, administration, and budgeting.
• Assist with pre-award initiatives, post-award management, and closeout activities for federal, state, local and private sponsors.
• Coordinate and gather biosketches, effort and salary information, and other documents for proposals and awards.
• Prepare final documents with proper formatting, page limits and updated forms for submission and award completion.
• Monitor milestones, draft post-award correspondence (e.g., NCEs, carry-forward requests), and maintain electronic document management for the team.
